I was carrying props to the Cosmopolitan shoot when I found myself in the middle of a film crew. As I waited at the traffic lights a gorgeous guy lounging next to the camera (no one seemed to be working) asked me about my weird props. I told him I’m in set design, he asked what my shoot was, I said Cosmo and then I ran off across the road, even though I wasn’t in a rush. What the -? Why didn’t I ask him what his shoot was? And whether they need people? And if he was free for dinner? A potential solution for my career and/or love life was staring me in the face!

Back on the Cosmo shoot I heard that the film down the street was the latest Coen brothers feature. Is there an emoticon for kicking yourself?
