After graduating from film school I was a greens labourer for several months, working mostly on the set for Mirkwood in a team of exceptionally hardworking & talented kiwis. The parts I worked on get most of their screentime in The Desolation of Smaug, but there were also some familiar trees being climbed in the final sequence of An Unexpected Journey.
