J’étais scénographe de cette pièce de théâtre de Norm Foster, présenté par la compagnie East Side Players au Papermill Theatre à Toronto en 2016.

Office Hours est une comédie canadienne. Le style du spectacle exigeait un décor réaliste en deux sections : un bureau et un salon. J’étais responsable de la conception des décors, et j’ai participé au montage et à la peinture. C’était l’occasion de collaborer avec le régisseur, les charpentiers et l’accessoiriste, d’apprendre à peindre un faux sol en béton et de créer un effet des vitraux avec des gélatines d’éclairage.

I was set designer for this play by Norm Foster, presented by the East Side Players at the Papermill Theatre in Toronto in 2016.

Office Hours is a classic Canadian comedy. The style of the show called for a realistic set with two sections: an office and a living room. I was responsible for the design, and also participated in the load-in and set painting. It was a great opportunity to collaborate with the stage manager, carpenters and props designer. It also gave me the chance to learn to paint a false concrete floor and create a stained-glass effect using lighting gels.
